How can I get involved with Volunteering at Our School?
At Okehampton Primary School we encourage parents and carers to get involved in their child’s school life as much as possible. We welcome volunteers in our classrooms, once your child has settled into school, and many parents find supporting the class to be a valuable and rewarding task. Help is appreciated in a variety of activities such as reading, artwork and school trips.
Please do let us know if you have a specific skill, talent or interest you would like to share. All volunteers in school need to complete a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check before they can volunteer regularly in school.
If you are interested in helping out at the school, please come to the main school office and ask for a CRB form. Once this is completed the school will process the form on your behalf. There is no charge.
