Computing Club Year 5 and 6
Dear Parent/Carer
I am pleased to let you know that we will be starting this new club on Thursday 20th April 2017
Who will be running the club? This is a new club and will be run by Mr Smith (Year 5 class teacher). The aim of the club is to develop a range of computing skills. These include: understanding algorithms, coding and collaborative working.
Who is the club for? Year groups 5 and 6
When, where and what? The club will take place in Ravens Tor (Year 5) from 3:30 to 4.30pm each Thursday and will run for 6 weeks, initially, finishing on Thursday 25th May, with the possibility of continuing into next term. At the end of the club, children to be collected will be brought to the main reception desk so that we can ensure they have met with the right adult and gone home safely.
What to do next?
Please complete the slip below and return to the school office as soon as possible. Places may be limited but confirmation slips and an email will be sent home to confirm if your child has secured a place. If we are oversubscribed, we will keep your details and offer your child a place next time. If you have any further questions do please get in touch by asking at the office and we’ll get back to you.
